Webster's defines courage as "the quality of the mind that enables a person to face difficulty and danger without fear." With due respect to Webster's, most "heroes" will tell you that they did experience fear at a certain point. However, their courage was able to overcome their fear. All men and women, even the most courageous ones, experience fear. In other words, courage does not mean absence of fear, but the ability to overcome it.
